Elementary School English Teacher Positions in China

Location: Zhengzhou, Henan, China

Job Title: 3rd-6th Grade English Teacher

Job Overview: As a 3rd-6th Grade English Teacher at the Best Educational Organization, you will be responsible for teaching students using the Best Bilingual Elementary Reach curriculum and the National Geographic Reach textbook. Your duties will include designing lesson plans, participating in collaborative team meetings, organizing English language-related activities, and attending school events and conferences as required by the administration.

Job Specifics:

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00-16:00 (occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand)
• 4 days of teaching: six 40-minute lessons a day (24 lessons/week)
• 1 day of collaborative team meeting and lesson planning
• Teacher will teach 6 classes across two grade levels (3rd and 4th, or 5th and 6th)

Qualifications:

Native English Speaker

1. Bachelor’s degree or above
2. More than 2 years of full-time teaching experience -or- TEFL/TESOL Certificate

Non-Native English Speaker

1. Bachelor’s degree or above
2. More than 2 years of full-time teaching experience
3. TEFL/TESOL Certificate
4. Degree in English/Education related field (Qualifications above are required by the Chinese government)
