Position Overview: Native English Kindergarten Teacher
A dynamic kindergarten in Dongtan is currently looking for a passionate Native English Kindergarten Teacher to start as soon as possible. In this role, you will help young learners aged 4 to 7 build foundational confidence in English through an interactive curriculum that includes speaking, storytelling, phonics, reading, writing, and fun arts & crafts projects. You will collaborate daily with a supportive international team in a lively school environment.
Job Requirements
To qualify for this position and secure full visa sponsorship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Native English speaker holding citizenship from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (or hold a valid F-visa).
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited university.
- Apostilled diploma and a clean national criminal background check.
- Physically and mentally healthy to meet the demands of a kindergarten classroom.
Salary and Benefits Package
This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to ensure a comfortable lifestyle in South Korea:
- Salary: 2,500,000 KRW+ per month (negotiable based on experience).
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:30/9:00 AM to 5:30/6:00 PM.
- Paid Time Off: 11 days of paid vacation plus all Korean national holidays.
- Housing: Rent-free housing provided or a monthly housing allowance of up to 400,000 KRW.
- Additional Benefits: 4 National Insurances, standard severance pay upon contract completion, and airfare reimbursement for relocation.
