Position: Full-Time Social Studies Teacher for Middle and High School

Basic Requirements:

Currently residing in South Korea
Must hold an F-type working visa or Korean citizenship
Eligible for registration with the Ministry of Education

Job Details:

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Teaching Grades: 6–12
Subjects May Include: History, Geography, Civics, Global Studies, Economics, World Cultures
Class Size: 5–16 students per class
Maximum 5 teaching periods per day (out of 8)
Participate in after-school clubs and school events

Salary & Benefits:

Starting at 3.0 million KRW/month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
School-provided housing or 500,000 KRW monthly housing allowance (for foreign nationals)
Vacation: All national holidays, 4 personal/sick days per year, 2 weeks in winter, 1 week in spring, 4 weeks in summer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging social studies lessons aligned with AERO, IBDP, or similar standards
Promote critical thinking, global citizenship, and inquiry-based learning
Incorporate digital tools like Google Workspace for Education
Provide timely assessments and feedback
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with peers and contribute to school-wide activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Political Science, Geography, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Valid teaching license or certification in Secondary Education or Social Studies (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience
Experience in international or multicultural settings is a plus
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Tech-savvy with experience using digital learning platforms
