Middle and High School Social Studies Teacher

Teaching Conditions:

Monday to Friday, 7:30AM – 4:30PM or 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Teach 5 out of 8 possible classes daily
Class size: 5–16 students
Subjects: History, Geography, Civics, Global Studies, etc.

Student Level:

Middle and High School (Grades 6–12)

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Social Studies lessons
Assess learning using global frameworks (AERO, IBDP, etc.)
Foster critical thinking, research, and global citizenship
Support co-curriculars like clubs and field trips

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Education, History, or related field (Master’s preferred)
2+ years of teaching experience
Valid teaching license (preferred)
Fluent in using EdTech platforms (Google Workspace)

Salary and Benefits:

Starting at 3.0 million KRW/month (negotiable)
Housing or 500,000 KRW housing allowance
11+ days vacation + all national holidays
