English Teaching Position in Yangsan, South Korea
Start Date: Late July 2025
Position Type: Full-Time – 12-Month Renewable Contract
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher for a reputable language academy located in Yangsan, a thriving city situated next to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest metropolis. Job Responsibilities:
- Teach English to elementary-level students
- Deliver well-planned lessons using the school’s established curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student development
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations and feedback
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to ensure consistent teaching quality
- Participate in occasional staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (in any field; Education or English-related fields preferred)
- Native or fluent-level English speaker
- Previous teaching experience with young learners is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine interest in teaching children
- Must meet visa eligibility requirements for South Korea
Employment Package:
Monthly Salary: 2.4 million KRW
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM (no weekend work)
Housing: Choice of a furnished one-room apartment or a monthly housing allowance
Vacation: 11 days paid vacation, in addition to all national Korean holidays
Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided for international hires
Severance Pay: One-month salary provided upon completion of the 12-month contract
Health Insurance & Pension: 50% of national health insurance and pension contributions covered by the employer
