Drama & English Teacher Needed – Shanghai, China | Mid-August 2025 Start

Position Details
- Location: Baoshan District, Shanghai, China
- Start Date: Mid-August 2025
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Maximum Teaching Load: 15 classes/week
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: 25,000 – 28,000 RMB (after tax, Aug–June)
- Housing: Fully furnished on-campus apartment provided
- Flight Reimbursement: 10,000 RMB/year (pre-tax)
- Contract Renewal Bonus: One month’s salary (bonus paid in Sept 2026 for March 2026 renewal)
- Insurance: Health and Accident Insurance included
- Vacation: National holidays, Winter & Summer breaks (50% paid)
Qualifications
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree (Theatre, Science, or related field); Master’s preferred
- Valid teaching credentials and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of international school teaching experience
- Experience with Project-Based Learning (PBL) preferred
- Willing to teach additional subjects such as PE or Music if needed
- Must provide complete and qualified documents for a Chinese work permit
Job Responsibilities
- Create annual and semester teaching plans including curriculum, exams, student activities, and teacher workshops
- Teach a maximum of 15 classes per week
- Maintain student performance records and analyze academic data
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow teachers
- Participate in teacher development and promotional programs
