An educational institution in Shenzhen China, is seeking a qualified and experienced Kindergarten Homeroom English Teacher to join its team as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Leadership: Lead the assigned homeroom class and maintain a warm, safe, and engaging English-immersion environment.
- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons that support children’s language, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Daily Classroom Management: Coordinate classroom routines, including circle time, learning centers, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods.
- School Activities and Events: Organize and participate in graduation ceremonies, sports days, holiday celebrations, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Chinese co-teachers and other staff to plan classroom activities, special events, and school-wide programs.
Candidate Requirements
- Native English speaker.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education; or a bachelor’s degree together with a TEFL/TESOL certificate; or an equivalent teaching qualification. The employer should clarify the stated alternative of “2+ years of equivalent teaching qualification.”
- At least two years of experience teaching young children aged 2–6.
- Experience in toddler care or early-years education is preferred for candidates applying for the Toddler class role.
