Job Overview & Compensation Package

This full-time kindergarten role is designed for experienced teachers who specialize in early childhood development and immersive English language instruction.

  • Position Title: Full-Time Kindergarten English Teacher
  • Location: Cixi, Zhejiang, China
  • Target Start Date: Immediate / ASAP 2026
  • Monthly Salary: 22,000 – 25,000 RMB (after tax, negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
  • Housing Allowance: 3,000 RMB per month
  • Paid Leave: 7 weeks of paid winter and summer vacation, plus all Chinese public holidays
  • Bonuses & Gratuity: Annual gratuity provided upon successful completion of each contract year, plus a contract completion bonus at the end of the two-year term

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster holistic development (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical).
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
  • Use play-based and inquiry-led teaching approaches to encourage curiosity and creativity.
  • Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress, and communicate regularly with parents and colleagues.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

To meet school standards and visa sponsorship guidelines, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Native English speaker.
  • Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time kindergarten teaching experience (reference letters required).
  • Location Status: Currently residing in China and able to transfer work visa or start immediately.
