English Teacher Position – Gangnam, Seoul Part-Time Saturday Program (ASAP Start)

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced part-time English instructor for a prestigious Saturday morning program located in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul. This position is ideal for educators looking for a high-paying, specialized weekend schedule teaching high-level and motivated students.

Position Details & Conditions

  • Location: Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea
  • Start Date: Immediate (ASAP Start)
  • Schedule: Saturdays only
  • Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (4 hours per week)
  • Hourly Compensation Rate: 50,000 KRW per hour
  • Student Demographics:
    • Advanced elementary students (Grades 4 – 6)
    • Middle school students (Grades 8 – 9) preparing for admission to a Foreign Language High School

Candidate Requirements

To comply with legal employment regulations in South Korea, all applicants must satisfy one of the following visa prerequisites:

  • Hold a valid F Visa with full work authorization.
  • Hold a valid E-2 Visa accompanied by official permission from Korean Immigration to work an additional part-time position.
  • Possess strong academic teaching credentials and experience handling advanced or specialized test-prep curricula.

General Benefits Note

Please note that standard full-time positions include benefits in accordance with Korean labor law (such as 11 days of paid vacation plus national holidays, furnished housing or a housing allowance, severance pay upon completion of one year, and coverage under National Health Insurance and National Pension systems). For this specialized part-time Saturday position, conditions apply as stated above.
