Weekend Native English Teacher Position – Suwon, Gyeonggi-do (ASAP Start)

  • Location: Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
  • Position Type: Weekend ESL Instructor (Cultural Exchange Program)
  • Start Date: July 25, 2026 (ASAP Start)
  • Working Days: Saturdays and Sundays Only
  • Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Student Target Group: Elementary School Students
  • Contract Duration: 1-Year Contract Preferred
  • Available Positions: 1 Opening

Compensation, Benefits & Support

  • Hourly Compensation: ₩40,000 KRW per hour (Competitive weekend rate)
  • Housing Accommodation: Single housing can be fully arranged by the school if necessary
  • Curriculum & Resources: Comprehensive curriculum and modern teaching materials are fully provided
  • Four Major Insurances: While standard insurances are not automatically included for weekend roles, coverage can be considered and negotiated during the interview process based on applicant requirements

Applicant Requirements & Visa Eligibility

Due to South Korean visa regulations, applicants must meet the following visa specifications prior to applying:

  • Eligible Visa Types:
    • F-series Visa Holders (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6) with full legal authorization to work, OR
    • E-2 Visa Holders who have obtained explicit legal permission for secondary employment from Korean Immigration.
  • Language Proficiency: Native English Speaker status (citizenship from standard English-speaking countries).
  • Professional Qualities: Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
