Job Title: Middle School Science Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Middle School Science Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students develop a passion for science and a deep understanding of scientific concepts and principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering engaging and effective science lessons for various grade levels
- Teaching biology, chemistry, physics, and other science-related subjects
- Conducting experiments and demonstrations to enhance understanding of scientific principles
- Providing guidance and feedback to students to improve their scientific comprehension and research skills
- Developing assessments to measure student progress
- Teaching Health and some Physical Education classes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science Education or related field
- Strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, and other science-related subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting science education among students
Working Conditions:
- Teaching Age: Middle School G6-G8
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM (leave at 4:40 if no meetings)
- Teaching Hours: 5 classes per week, each class is 215 minutes of instruction per week + 2-3 After Class Activity periods (45 minutes)
- Study Hall Supervision Duties
- 1-hour lunch break every day
- Breaks: 10 minutes between classes
- Class Size: 10 – 16 students per class
- Teacher Training: Initial Teacher Training and full support from administrative staff
- Teaching Staff: 30+ Teachers
Salary:
Starting at 3 million per month + 500,000 housing allowance (school provided housing possible as well). Negotiable based primarily on education and years of experience.
