• Currently residing in Korea
• Able to start ASAP for on-boarding and training
• Hold an F-type working VISA or be a Korean citizen
• Eligible for teacher registration with the Ministry of Education (Bachelor’s degree, clear CBC, and pass a medical check-up)

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Title: Middle School Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Middle School Science Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students develop a passion for science and a deep understanding of scientific concepts and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering engaging and effective science lessons for various grade levels
• Teaching biology, chemistry, physics, and other science-related subjects
• Conducting experiments and demonstrations to enhance understanding of scientific principles
• Providing guidance and feedback to students to improve their scientific comprehension and research skills
• Developing assessments to measure student progress
• Teaching Health and some Physical Education classes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science Education or related field
• Strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, and other science-related subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for promoting science education among students

Working Conditions:

• Teaching Age: Middle School G6-G8
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM (leave at 4:40 if no meetings)
• Teaching Hours: 5 classes per week, each class is 215 minutes of instruction per week + 2-3 After Class Activity periods (45 minutes)
• Study Hall Supervision Duties
• 1-hour lunch break every day
• Breaks: 10 minutes between classes
• Class Size: 10 – 16 students per class
• Teacher Training: Initial Teacher Training and full support from administrative staff
• Teaching Staff: 30+ Teachers

Salary:

Starting at 3 million per month + 500,000 housing allowance (school provided housing possible as well). Negotiable based primarily on education and years of experience.
