ExploreLife Academic Club, officially registered in Shanghai city center, is a leading English Learning Center under the EL Group. Our programs, including Pre-K for kindergarten and K1-12 international English, Science, History, and Math courses, cater mainly to primary students. Job Description:

At ExploreLife, we employ an engaging approach to teach English through literature and writing practices for students aged 3-14. New teachers are likely to start with the Phonics Program and lower-level literature/writing coursework, with opportunities to progress to teaching picture books, novels, grammar, and various writing mediums. Teachers maintain regular communication with their Head Teacher and operations staff, ensuring student progress updates and professional relationships with parents. EL Teachers create a consistently challenging classroom environment aligned with EL’s philosophy and goals. The working schedule includes five days a week (three weekdays and weekends) with shifts from 13:00-21:00 on weekdays and 9:00-18:00 on weekends.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or above
  2. English proficiency at an idiomatic level
  3. TESOL/TEFL certificate (or equivalent)
  4. Bilingual or international school experience is advantageous
  5. Diligence, punctuality, good communication, and teamwork skills
  6. Passion for working with and teaching children

Staff Benefits:

  1. Monthly salary between $2,800 and $4,200, including allowances:
    • Housing allowance (up to $700/month with provision of invoices)
    • Yearly Round trip ticket (up to $1,000 with provision of invoices)
    • Medical insurance (up to $140/month)
  2. Paid leaves (5 days sick leave and 10 days annual leave)
