Position: ESL Secondary English Teacher
Location: Line 9, She Shan station, Shanghai
Start Date: August 16th, 2024
Salary: Competitive remuneration; ($3,452 – $4,142) 25,000-30,000 RMB pre-tax + 5,000 RMB housing allowance

Responsibilities & Tasks:
1st Responsibility: Lesson Structuring
- Formulate clear cohesive weekly lesson plans
- Develop a scheme of work incorporating content, context, requirements, and aims
2nd Responsibility: Implement Lessons
- Clearly state each lesson objective for students
- Teach across levels and differences of understanding
- Actively nurture learning
3rd Responsibility: Homework and Assignments
- Set, mark, review, and provide feedback weekly
- Input grades into the system
- Highlight students who fail to meet requirements
4th Responsibility: Administration Duties
- Be present during stated work hours (08:00-17:00) engaged in lesson preparation or other tasks
- Attend meetings as required
5th Responsibility: Extracurricular Activities
- Participate in departmental extracurricular undertakings
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities
