Job Opportunity Overview
Position: ESL Teacher (Kindergarten & Elementary)
Location: Yeonje-Gu, Busan, South Korea
Start Date: Early September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, 12-month renewable contract
Work Schedule
- Work Days: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- School Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Student Age Group: Kindergarten and Elementary students
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: Starting from 2.6 million KRW (negotiable based on experience)
- Vacation: 11 paid vacation days + all Korean public holidays (red days)
- Housing: Fully furnished single-room apartment or monthly housing allowance
- Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided
- Severance Pay: Equivalent to one month’s salary after completion of the contract
- Health Insurance: 50% employer-paid (National Health Insurance)
- National Pension: 50% employer contribution (refundable for certain nationalities)
Job Requirements
- Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education or English-related preferred)
- Eligible for an E-2 or F-series visa
- Clean national criminal background check
- Passion for working with young learners and adapting to Korean culture
