Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher – Shepherd International Education (SIE), Seoul
Short Description: Shepherd International Education (SIE) is urgently seeking a qualified Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year. Applicants must already reside in Korea and hold an F-visa or Korean citizenship.
Basic Requirements
- Must be residing in Korea
- Must have an F-type working visa or Korean citizenship
- Must be eligible for teacher registration with the Ministry of Education
Working Conditions
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30AM–4:30PM or 8AM–5PM
- Vacation: All national holidays, 4 personal/sick days, 2 weeks winter, 1 week spring, 4 weeks summer
- Meals: Free cafeteria lunch
- Insurance: Full four major national insurances
- Severance: Paid at contract completion
- Salary: Starting at 2.8 million KRW/month (negotiable; based on experience and education)
- Housing: School-provided housing or 500,000 KRW housing allowance (for foreign nationals)
- Teaching Age: Grade 1
- Teaching Load: Max 5 classes out of 7 per day (excluding after-school clubs)
- Class Size: 10–16 students
- Training: Initial training + 2 professional development days per year
- Teaching Staff: 30+ teachers

- Have experience with early years education
- Plan, prepare, and teach lessons at scheduled times

- Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers
- Participate in school events and club activities
