English Teaching Job in Gwanak, Seoul – February 2026 Start
We are hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join a well-established school in Gwanak, Seoul. This is a great opportunity for experienced educators seeking a professional work environment with a large team of native and Korean teachers.
Job Details:
- Location: Gwanak, Seoul, South Korea
- Start Date: February 2026
- Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM / Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Teaching Hours: Less than 6 hours/day (average 8 classes of 40 minutes)
- Salary: 2.5–2.8 million KRW/month (negotiable)
- Severance: One-month salary after completing a 12-month contract
- Vacation: Paid vacation + national holidays
- Pension & Health Insurance: 50% paid by the school
- Housing: Provided single studio or housing allowance (500,000 KRW)
- Airfare: One-way ticket (entry only)
- Contract Duration: 1 year with an option to renew
- Team Size: 14 native English teachers & 17 Korean teachers
Ideal Candidate:
- Native English speaker
- Eligible for E2 visa or currently residing in Korea with valid visa
- Professional, responsible, and team-oriented
- Previous teaching experience preferred
