Position Overview
Job Title: ESL Teacher (Kindergarten & Elementary)
Location: Centum City, Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea
Start Date: Early September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (12-month renewable contract)
Working Conditions
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (No weekends)
- School Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Student Age Group: Kindergarten & Elementary
- Teaching Hours: Approximately 30 teaching hours/week
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: Starting from 2.6 million KRW (negotiable based on experience)
- Vacation: 11 working days + all Korean national holidays (“red days”)
- Housing: Furnished one-room apartment or monthly housing allowance
- Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided
- Severance Pay: One full month’s salary upon completion of contract
- Health Insurance: 50% employer-paid (National Health Insurance)
- National Pension: 50% employer contribution (fully refundable for some nationalities)
Requirements
- Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education or English-related preferred)
- Must be eligible for E-2 or F-series visa
- Clean national background check
- Passion for teaching young learners and adapting to Korean culture
