ESL Teaching Position in Taebaek, Gangwon
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated ESL Teachers to join a friendly and supportive school in Taebaek, Gangwon Province. This opportunity is ideal for teaching couples who are looking to experience a peaceful lifestyle surrounded by nature while teaching motivated young learners.
Job Details
- Location: Taebaek, Gangwon, South Korea
- Start Date: Early March 2026
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- School Hours: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Student Level: Elementary (1 Kindergarten Class per day)
- Salary: 2.7 million KRW per month (Negotiable)
- Vacation: 1 week in summer + 1 week in winter + 1 personal day
- Housing: 15-pyeong apartment provided (ideal for couples)
- Benefits: Airfare, Severance Pay, Health Insurance, National Pension
Candidate Requirements
- Native English speaker from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (required for E-2 visa)
- Couples preferred, but single applicants also welcome
- Positive attitude and a passion for working with children
