English Teaching Position in Mapo, Seoul
Location: Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea
Start Date: Early September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Renewable Annually
We are hiring qualified and passionate English teachers for a full-time teaching opportunity at a well-established school located in Mapo, Seoul. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with kindergarten and elementary students in a modern and supportive environment. Position Details
- Location: Mapo, Seoul
- Start Date: Early September 2025
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- School Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Student Levels: Kindergarten and Elementary
- Curriculum: Structured curriculum provided by the school
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: Starting from 2.6 million KRW (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
- Vacation: 11 paid vacation days plus all national holidays (red days)
- Housing: Fully furnished one-room apartment or housing allowance
- Airfare: One-way ticket to Korea
- Severance Pay: One month’s salary upon completion of contract
- Health Insurance: 50% covered by the employer
- National Pension: 50% employer contribution
Applicant Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (any major)
- Native-level English proficiency
- Experience teaching children is preferred
- TEFL/TESOL certification is an advantage
- Eligible for an E-2 visa or currently holding an F-series visa
