English Teacher at Binzhou International School – 18K–20K RMB/Month – Shandong, China

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach English to primary and secondary school students aged 7–12
  • Organize and support English activities such as English corners, festivals, contests, and parties
  • Assist with exam preparation, including composing papers and recording materials
  • Provide regular English language and teaching methodology training for Chinese teachers
  • Prepare lessons independently (textbooks provided but flexibility allowed)
  • Complete other assigned tasks by school leadership

Requirements

  • Passion for education and professional growth
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • Major in Education or at least two years of teaching experience
  • TEFL/TESOL certification (or equivalent) if less than two years’ experience

Working Hours

  • 40 hours/week, including less than 20 teaching hours
  • Schedule: 7:50am–6:00pm (two-hour lunch break)
  • Each class: 40 minutes
  • Weekend activities are rare and planned in advance

  • No salary during winter holiday unless teaching winter camp (course fee paid separately)
