English Teacher at Binzhou International School – Shandong, China (Full-time)

Short Description: Binzhou International School is seeking passionate full-time English teachers to teach primary and secondary students (ages 7–12) in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. One-year contract with competitive salary and supportive working environment.

Job Content

  1. English Classes: Teach English to primary and secondary students (ages 7–12).
  2. English Activities: Cooperate with Chinese teachers for English corners, festival activities, contests (help compose exam papers and recordings), parties and other events as needed.
  3. Teachers’ Training: Provide regular English language and teaching-method training for Chinese teachers.
  4. Other Tasks: Complete tasks assigned by school leaders.
  5. Lesson Preparation: Prepare lessons independently. Fixed textbooks provided, but teachers may use their own ideas and suggestions.

Requirements

  • Passion for education and professional development
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree
  • Major in Education OR minimum two years teaching experience OR TEFL/TESOL certification

Working Schedule

  • 40 hours per week total (teaching < 20 hours/week)
  • Working hours: 7:50 AM – 6:00 PM (includes 2-hour lunch break)
  • Class length: 40 minutes
  • Weekend activities are rare; if scheduled, staff will be notified in advance

Special Notes

  • No salary paid during winter holiday unless teacher is scheduled to teach winter camp (course fee paid separately)
